But my 180000 miles old 2010 E550 does not burn any oil. I change oil every 5000 miles and oil is almost as clean as it is in the jug that I pour in.

I have not seen oil level drop at all yet on that car. It is just amazing!

Wow, that's incredible, none of my Benz's seemed to burn oil until after 50k or so, but 180k with no reduction on the stick at all in 5-10k miles is miraculous! After posting to Senecan, I went out to check my '13 with 78k and an oil change every 5k since new, it is down an 1/8" on the stick and that's 3k miles, so roughly 3-4 ounces from full.

I too been looking for it because I assume the 3.0L TT is the younger brother of the 3.5L NA and would share similar basic components and being both called a M276

The oil pump has 2 stage pressure control via electronic according to below M276 3.5L booklet page 14 & 58. Can't find oil pressure sensor though.
Its engine controls sensors list page 64 & 65, also no oil pressure sensor.

and my GT350 says it can burn 1 quart every 500 miles.
Thank G it doesn't, but Ford has been replacing engines when they go below that at $30K a pop.

My miles are 85% highway so my real engine miles compared to a city car is only 1/3 of it so it is somewhere around 60000 miles.

But still, no oil burn at all. And the amazing part is how clean the oil is after 5000 miles. It is difficult to see in the dip stick.

And to save all laughs, no, it is not dry below the stick...
