I was obviously just kidding around.
FWIW, you can stop the car by putting it in park.. at least at a slow roll.. especially if you're trying to wash the windshield and you get the buttons confused
(the noise will not be pleasant)

My best friend had a Datsun 210 back in the day. A real beater. I mean this thing was a rust bucket from hell. We were in our teens late 90's. I took the pilot's seat and went for a quick test drive with him. I had a bit of property and a big gravel driveway. I gunned it from across the street into my driveway to do an epic E-brake skid, got up to speed, hit the driveway, grabbed a handful of E-BRAKE and ripped the whole goddamned EBRAKE assembly right off the floor. We laughed for hours.
