Early GDI injector of M271.8

Some visual.........
From M271.860 engine. 4 cylinder. 1.8L Turbo, of year 2010.
W212 E200/E250 petrol if in Asia or Europe. W204 C250 if in USA.
I wonder why MB initially design this GDI to be cup shaped for its tip. This is not a 3,000 PSI GDI yet like M276.xx, M278 and M157, this is still a 2,000 PSI version.
It is short body injector, not long body like the 3 engines I mentioned.
Number 2 injector. 93,000KM. 14 years old.

.
Located at the side, not middle of camber like M276 / M278 / M157
M276.820, mine. When at approx 36,000 KM.
M276 / M278 / M157 injector tip is pointy and not a cup shape. I bet ours will stay cleaner tip wise, due to the injector tip shape.
This injector is not yet a Piezo, it is oldie magnetic solenoid type.
The HP fuel pump is also not running on camshaft 3 or 4 lobes like M276 / M278 / M157, it is running like a vacuum pump from center bore of camshaft, so it spin as fast as camshaft only.

My country fuel is 99% served by government oil company. So don't expect it to be as good as the best Shell Nitro+.
Also the maintenance on this engine was not the best it could be given.
I started assisting this engine of my friend's car in 2022 at 72,000KM there about. So previous to that I can say that it was not loved as much as now
