2010 W212 E220 CDI - Oil leak + Check Engine light
Hi everyone, I have 2010 Mercedes W212 E220 CDI 2.2.
I bought it second hand in December, it came with Check Engine light on.
I found oil around the MAP sensor area in the engine bay.
Photos attached below.
Could this be valve cover gasket leak? And could the oil leak cause the Check Engine light?

Welcome to solving Mercedes issues. You don't need to guess if oil leak is causing the CEL.
Have a specialist or yourself connect your faborite MB Scanner to retrieve all the faults descriptions.
Keep an eye on proper engine oil level as mentioned in your MB Owner Manual.
