Repairing COMAND Head Unit Versus Replacing
I just came into ownership of a 2014 E550 4Matic and it has the common dead COMAND head unit. I am having difficulty finding a used COMAND unit with a matching part number for sale, and I am having even more difficulty finding a shop in Honolulu (aside from the dealership) that will SCN code a replacement COMAND unit.
I did find a company in Maryland called Module Medics who will repair my existing unit for a moderately high price, but it seems like a good option if the company does good work. Has anyone here worked with them before?
