Ordered mine. My sheet says build date says 3rd decade of july and delivery probably a month later.
Apparently there was some kind of delay for rear safety package.
For some reason the older DOG has pricing on 1/2 the options and the newer DOG all the prices have been changed to TBD.

I suggest people write or email MB on the P1, P2, P3 setup. W212 was $4000 just to get heated seats. At least they are separate order now on the E213.
However, what we know as Drive Pilot, as we call it, is really three separate packages in the German buying guide. While in the USA guide it is all or nothing. Note Multi Contour seats are required for W213 side assist portion of Drive Pilot.
But, the other stuff in P2, such as LED lights, cabin perfume & sunshade are 1) way over priced and 2) adds a cool $3k to the price of Drive Pilot. I'd much rather have Air Body Control and the Acoustic package for that stolen $3K!
We have to remember that we are not Mercedes customers. Mercedes customers in the US are the dealers. In Germany, dealerships staff are straight MB employees and you always order your car exactly as you want it, after all, you are the customer there. Instead, we get these high roller, dealer chain executives thrown together twice a year so thay can they tell MB how they want to screw their customers, opps, I mean, how they want to reinforce their bottom line via the order guide structure.
It is interesting the C Class is order guide is much more rational. That car they want to sell as many as possible. Remember, the C Class costs the same to build as a Camry and sells for an extra 10 grand a copy. Go figure.

I just noticed that the standard Adobe compression settings corrupt the fonts at the end of the file. Lets try this version, I turned off the font compression and turned up the image compression a little bit.

Yeah, I was thinking that also, so I did a quick comparison of the standard options in the E43 vs. E300:
I highlighted the E43 standard options that are optional on the E300:
And if we look at the costs to add these options to an E300:
Plus the 19" wheels are standard compared to $500 to add them to an E300.
That's around $5,500 of options included standard, not including the engine and AMG tuning to the engine and transmission. That also doesn't include the upgraded interior, which is standard.
I don't think we will really know the full extent of the AMG influence on the E43 until after the E63 comes out, which means that there will most likely be addition features added by AMG that aren't available to an E300, that won't be evident until after the E43 / E63 comparison is done.

To that $5,500 add $650 for the sport wheel package that is required to add the 19" rims and $1,650 for entry level leather. Nappa leather (std. on E43) is only available on the E300 Luxury version unless one goes for the designo interior for $4,900.

I'm not clear but if AMG airbody control comes standard, and there's a AMG dynamic select driving programs, does that mean airbody does not come with dynamic select? Are there multiple options for suspensions tuning on E43?
If designo leather available as well on the E43? It doesn't mention it in the AMG section of the order guide. There seems to be a couple of missing options on the AMG section where it's available in the E300.

2016 Audi S8 Plus/ 2011 Mercedes e550 4Matic//Gone:1985 500SEL/2000 e320 4Matic/ 2001 e55 Kleeman
Been away from the forum for a while now. Owner of a 2011 e550 and ex owner of a 2001 e55 with full Kleeman mods that my son totaled in April, he is fine by the way. Just put in an order yesterday for a fully loaded e43 in celenite grey metallic. Very exited. They tell me delivery for December, it was a car the dealership had ordered in to be in the queue, I'm hoping their delivery promise is accurate. They seem to think that the e43 which some are calling an AMG light, which I wouldn't disagree with, will be a very limited production vehicle, which I'm not so sure about. I think many Mercedes customers were shocked when the base engine for the new e was a turbo four, I know I was. More than a few customers will up to the e43 if they can stomach the price or go across the street to BMW. On an opinion note, you guys think that it is ok to have a beige interior with the celenite gray? I suspect black would be better but this is a Florida car and black seats get flaming hot in sun. But don't want to commit any major fashion fopaux. Thanks. Regards. Ned.

Wait they removed the carbon fiber trim? I placed my order mid september and the vehicle hasn't even went into production yet. How can they be out of something when the vehicle hasn't even been released?

Yeah, I noticed that also. I was thinking that they removed it as an option as opposed to a supply problem. I would check with your dealer and see if the CF trim is still part of your build.
