I was in the same boat as you, wanting leather and not one car had it. Leather is nice but does need maintaining and is ~2k option. The mbtex is rugged and durable. I don’t get worried about it as I would with leather. I think the trade off is worth it

New E300 sport
Turned in the C and picked up a new E300 sport...have to say this really is a nice car, only wish I would have been able to get the car with the factory 19" AMG wheels, so I could just add spacers and be done.
The 18's that came on it look ok with the dark package, but the 19's look so clean, and I want to be sure and do a wheel that does not cheapen the look of the car or the brand.
Decisions decisions? Love seeing some of the different cars and combinations here, some nice cars, congrats to all!
I need to do some paint work as I did with the C class, so I will post pics when it's done, but for now here are the pics before I picked it up from the Dealer.
Cheers!

S213 finally arrived.
220D in cavansite blue with avantgarde trim, machiatto beige leather, dark ash wood, and a variety of extras, the stand out of which is so far definitely drive pilot, which is amazing.
It's specified for comfort, hence the 17s and it feels pure luxury.

Newbie
Lowered this on the eBay lowering module. Worked great. Currently sitting at - 39mm Too bad my winter tires are still on with terrible offset. New rims this week!

Hi guys, I just joined the community and I am looking forward to a lot of good discussions.
That’s my wagon MY 2018 from Germany. All chrome parts have been wrapped and I just put the s-class 20” wheels on. The ABC suspension was also upgraded a bit in the sport mode 😃.

Sold my c450 and decided to go back to the E Class. Picked up a E43 2 weeks ago and just did some simple upgrades . Adjusted the air suspension down about a inch. 20% tint all around . 70% front windshield and added a roof spoiler . Few more mods to come in the near future . Constructive Criticism welcomed...

Thanks, well it's adjustable, so only that low in park .
Your car looks fabulous. What kind and size (especially width and offset) of wheels are those?
I am looking for 20" for the winter mode even though I have the original AMGs with summer tires at home now. But I want something different.
Cheers, Flo

I would just want to have a look at it how it would be with -60mm or something in park .
Cheers,
Flo

Mine is not even lowered and I hear the front scrape all the time. I cannot imagine what my wife would do to the front if it was lowered...okay, I need to be accountable too, I would probably trash the front too

So how is it possible to scrape the front?
I drove a lowered 3-series wagon before and it was almost impossible with it to get into a car park building. The additional front lip was broken multiple times, but with the e-class this wont happen.

Congratulations on getting back into an E-Class. I love the contrast in the photos. I also like how you lowered the car even though it really shows off the weak offsets from the OEM wheels. Are you going to go the aftermarket wheel route so you can get wider wheels & tires + a better stance?

i am going to go with spacers for now to see how that looks . It’s on a 2 year lease so I don’t know if i want to go aftermarket wheels and tires especially when i have tire and wheel protection built into my lease . Roads are not the greatest on Hawaii.
