Navigate to Contacts - Most Don't Work

Does anyone know the secret of how to get Navigate to a contacts address to work for "all" phone contacts? We get the message that a field is missing, but no fields are missing. We asked our dealer. He played with it and couldn't figure out why it doesn't work either. We asked him to call his rep. I don't know if he did, but after a week, he called us today and didn't have an answer.

Hardly any contacts work, but we (and the dealer) tried to analyzed the one or two that do, vs all that don't. Unable to find a connection. US postal abbreviations and punctuation guidelines don't appear to be the issue.

Using google contacts and Samsung Galaxy 6 phones. When we type the same address in manually into the "Nav" it works.

We have had NAVS in our previous four Toyotas, so not new to NAVS, just new to Mercs. We were really looking forward to that option.

If anyone knows what the issue is and has a solution, would appreciate hearing from you. Pretty sad when the dealer can't figure it out. Thank you.

You got some addresses to work? I tried with iPhone and Galaxy Note and could not get any to work at all :-(. Same error message you describe. I also showed it to the dealer but even after software upgrade to the latest version it still did not work. Pretty annoying, but then I am using the Send2Benz from my cell phone, which works reasonably consistent...

Yes, very annoying. Think we got 3 to work. We removed periods, spelled out street and circle, etc, abbreviated street, circle, etc, removed extended zip codes, deleted and added again and everything else we could think of. Dealer didn't mention any updates, but guess if it didn't work for you, it doesn't matter.

Yes, Send2Benz works for us also.

Glad to hear we aren't the only ones experiencing the issue. Maybe we will hear from someone that knows the cure. Thank you.

I contacted Mercedes about my 2017 E Class with the same problem on my iPhone contacts. The Concierge at my dealer could not figure it out either.
Mercedes replied with this passage in their email:
"We have reached out to our product advice team for any additional feedback and support. They indicated that for the addresses that are stored in your phone, not to use the full spelling of the words like street, road, avenue, etc but save in your phone as st, rd, ave etc. and no punctuation marks either."
I changed them in my iPhone and it works......but it did not work on Hwy
They still have not answered me on how to save a location to the vehicle when I do not have the iPhone with me. They tell me to save as previous destination. Not Good. Can't name the entry.
