2012-E350
2018 E300
Considering an E300-4Matic for late September European Delivery, so this would be a MY2018. Anyone know if there will be E300 sedan body design changes or seen a 2018 Order Guide? Tips?

The option packages are changed slightly. For example LCD instrument cluster (464) is part of Premium 2. Multicontour Seats (432) have a massage feature. Soft close doors (883) are available. Link

Here is the 2018 E-Class Order Book. Looks exactly the same. I assume there will be the usual tweaks to fit, finish and bugs that have cropped up in the 2017s. Maybe software improvements to the Drive Pilot suite?

That right there is worth waiting for. I hate the black plastic. Like someone else wrote, it scratches if you blow dust across it. Finger print magnet too.

I drove a E300 and loved the car but hated the motor, yes it was quick but it reminded me of the sounds an old Corolla or Datsun 4cyc motor made. I can't get past that. The dealer said they had a support group to help me but really? I would at least think tha MB would have better sound deadning from the motor compartment so I could not hear that Yugo motor.
Im waiting for the e350 or not buying one at all!

4matic or RWD? I'm a little biased because I live in MN, but I have had both and prefer the 4matic.
the reason is that as you drive the front wheels are pulling you around the corners as the rear wheels are pushing you. I feel that there is better handling all around, wet or dry, definitely in snow. Drive both kinds and you should feel the difference.

I went for the E400 wagon/estate. Drove it several times and fell in love vs the E300. I'd recommend that as an option if you're in the US, or are you referring to the E350d?

Is there a US 2018 E wagon order guide yet? I'm looking to do that instead of the sedan and hope they have the night package for it

my dealer said they have not received their allocation of 2018s yet and therefore can not take any orders/builds for them yet. This is in California. Is that odd that i am reading several people confirming their MY2018 builds at other dealers and my dealer is not able to order them yet? Are they giving me the runaround?

I just placed my order for a 2018 E300 yesterday. No issues on my end. Dealer told me the car would likely freeze in May, and delivery would be expected July/August.
There is no pricing yet for the 2018, but they were more than willing to take the order and deposit.

Interesting. my dealership says they can't take an order or a deposit until the 2018 pricing and allocations become available. They can configure a 2018 in the system, but everything shows $0 price or TBA.

That is correct, no pricing is available. Not sure why they wouldn't place the order. I am guessing they are being cautious. They did take 1k deposit to order my car, but if we can't come to terms with pricing they will refund me the money. Apparently the refund is apparently the norm, but since this is my 7th lease from this dealer they are being more flexible.

I have two on order. One is scheduled for June 10th but no build date for the second. There are no prices but we have an agreement on percentage of discount off MSRP. It appears the second car is held up because the IDP option is on hold.

how can the IDP be on hold when production has not even started ????
