The Hammer was well known as the best sport sedan ever made, this car would roundly beat the hammer in all categories for a much better price after inflation. A hammer in present dollars days would be about 115K.
The E63 is for all purposes is a race car dressed in a business suit, 600HP was F1 level power not too long ago.

My point was the comparison what Mercedes sells the car for in Canada vs the US. Taxes do not go to MB.

90% of the states have a sales tax in the 5% - 7% range. There are a few states with higher taxes but all are less than 10%.
There are 5 states with no sales taxes.
I always look at the bottom line after all "extras" such as delivery charges, taxes and registration.
It is relatively easy in the US to avoid taxes when buying big ticket items.

Nope! $1500 over the dealer invoice, NOT a loyalty discount from the MSRP! For example, my current E300 was $76,750 on the sticker, delivered in November, 2017 at $71,600. My "loyalty" kicker was a free 3-year MB maintenance contract. Here is the copy of the original order:

It all depends on what ship is ready to receive vehicles and which is also heading to the correct port to discharge the vehicle. Your car was most likely at the port within 7 days assuming that the car didn't need rework before shipment. My first E300 got to the port in 4 days and then stayed there for 2 months because of an engine rework. I reordered the car again which was built on October 10 and was delivered to me on November 3. Good luck.

Ordered cars with a customer's name are priority one in netstar. So your car will have priority boarding in Bremerhaven as well as being being processed at the front of the line at the VPC.

I'm familiar with that, it's on both of my current cars. But I don't remember it being a line item when I ordered either one of them though. I thought it was something new and maybe MB has figured out that the current systems they use is a little rough when it starts and stops so they reworked it.
