I believe it had the gloss wood right? Yeah we sat in that one! It had a sold sticker on it from 6/19 and they said they were waiting on the buyer to take delivery. It had to be the same car because none of the other cars met our requirements. It was very nice!

You're right it is probably the same one. Buyer is thrilled with it - had a black one before and loves the selenite.

So just called the manager because I have yet to receive a copy of the NetStar order, he said he has no record of a order in my name…I'm beyond pissed. I'm waiting for a call back and if it doesn't go smooth, I'm taking my business elsewhere. My wife and I stopped by the dealer twice this week and assumed the order was in and at a 40min drive it's not like it was convenient!

One of the reasons I place every order by email. As a matter of fact, I try to do most business transactions, negotiations, etc. by email, as it leaves a trail and you avoid "he said-she said" problems.

Just got a call back.

So the mis-understanding was that because we spec'd a P3 2018 it's on backorder because the distronic parts are on backorder and the car can't be completed. But instead of the salesman telling me that, I had to find out from the manager. It's on "order"….I don't know if we will ever get this ****ing car.

So. What you see on this list are 2018 E300 with P03 pack with production date end of July. This cars are already ordered in the factory so P03 is not a problem because they order them long time ago so they are non afected by the P03 actual delay.

All you have to do is to call them see if the car is available, if is available all they have to do is to change the color and other specs you want.

Every car on that list has P03 package. That is what is important for you. All of them have more or less the options than you want but all of them are changeable.

Right now is yellow color which means the options can still be changed but they can go in Red anytime so you cannot make changes.

You can see the dealer name and location. Call them and ask to talk with new car manager as the sell person will not have access to what I gave you.

Tell him you know they have E300 with P03 in production and if is available because it may be a special order for another customer (i cannot see that info).

If the car is available tell him the specs for your car, agree with numbers and put deposit.

Does anyone have information as to when the back ordered Distronic parts are expected to arrive? I, too, recently placed an order and have not received any further information from the dealer. I'm new to MB so I'm not sure what to expect from a dealer and when.

When I ordered my two E43's the driver pilot option was on hold. It appears there is a supplier problem plus the option has been very popular. In the end my dealer got the allocations from the regional office and one car is now built and the other is scheduled for July 10th.

At this point, it is doubtful you will get this car in 8 weeks. I would also suggest you consider the E400 because your car is highly optioned and the E400 will do better on resale with that option load. Now that the E400 is available the E300 will be the entry level car more suited for P1.

At your price point, it will not be a big step up to go to the E400. I know you did not want the standard 4Matic but it adds stability on wet roads ie: summertime Fla. plus you will appreciate that TT V6.

I found your order MSRP $68.335 . Production end of August. Delivery ETA early October. YOU HAVE TO ADD U09 ( Topstitched MB-Tex Uper Dasboard and Door Trim) Very inexpensive and it makes a huge difference on the interior.

I don't know if you want panoramic roof or not but i'm sure you said your wife wants ventilated seats and i don't see option 401(heated and ventilated front seats)
