I want to install dash cam to my w213 but can not find fuse diagram.

Does anyone know where to obtain this info?.

Can not find it in the user manual.

next to the fusebox(es) there's a diagram (it's printed on a piece of paper which u have to take out)

There is a large piece of folded paper in the boot fuse box. Look in the boot just behind one of the lights for a carpetted lid. Open it and there are a few fuses there but also the diagram slotted in near them.

Can not find any printed diagram paper in the fuse box. Do I look into the wrong place?

Are you sure you have a w213, cos that looks nothing
like my fusebox (see pic) in fact not even the area around it looks like my car (not even my previous w212)

then again you don't really need the diagram.
just find one fuse that switches of with engine
and one (if your camera has parkmode) that stays on.

then piggyback the camera.

any of the 10 to 30v fuses will do

The picture I took was in passenger side of front foot area. I found the fuse diagram paper in the trunk right-hand side same as your photo.

The MB should print this two pages info in the manual.

page 310: "The fuse assignment diagram is in a recess on the side of the fuse box." :-)

Local dealers (Russia) remove and they are saying that it's not for public.
Just to get all the money even for replacing fuse.
Pleeease, somebody take a picture of yours diagram and put it here.

How can we know which fuse is Switched or Constant Power?

Use a voltage tester to see if power is on the fuse when the car is turned off. Then make sure there is power when the car is switched on. With dash cams that include park mode, you'll need a connection to both switched and constant power plus ground - 3 connections total.

I always keep the trunk open and then lock the car.
after a few minutes the power switches off and you can start testing the fuses

For my Dashcam, they just ask for a Switched fuse of 20A or higher. I got the Blackvue DR900S with the battery magic pro.

So I will have go turn off the car and test the fuse. They should of mentioned in the diagram which fuse are constant power are which one are not.

I use the battery pack so I just need a Switch fuse since in parking mode it uses the battery pack power and not the car battery.

Problem is that I don't have a voltage tester. Anyone can tell me which fuse I can use as Switch on the passenger feet fuse box

Is Engine Electronics a switch fuse or Belt Tensioner?

what kind of battery pack do you have ?
if it's not specifically for a dashcam it means the camera will continue to film non stop in park ode

I tried F315 Engine Electronics and the battery still gets 12V in
I tried F310 Belt Tensioner and battery still gets 12V in
F301/302 power window and still gets 12V in
F303/304 Seat adjustment and also gets 12V in
F306 Seat heating/ventilation same ****
F309 Sunroof same ****

Dont know what else to do.

in the trunk find fuse 457 or 458 (I think they are blue)
these are for the 12v socket (cigarette lighter) in front & rear of the car.
they definitely switch off with engine.
(but it might take a few minutes after car is locked!)

Yeah those are the ONLY switch fuse and I tested.

Sadly, I gave up because doing the wire to the trunk from the front is extremely difficult in my car.

I cant find a way to pass the wire hidden to the trunk

but u need a switched fuse as you don't want the batttery to charge when engine is off…?
it's actually very simple to pass the cable from the front to the trunk.
(see one of my other posts with installation pics.)

Attached is a cross referenced list of each fuse block, fuse number, amps and function from the images posted by Egonvdv. Note that there are several undefined locations/functions. I have not checked the data against what is physically present in the fuse blocks. Use at your own risk.

I really can't find the path to pass to the trunk. I might be dumb or something lol I have looked everywhere.
Can you show me a picture from where you passed? I can arrive to the back seats, it is easy but from there to the trunk I don't know.
I would highly appreciate it.

EDIT: Yes, I do need a switch fuse. A fuse that will turn off when the car is off, otherwise it is what you said, it will drain the battery.
