Experience w/ ELW with Tafel Motors?
Guys,
I recently purchased a 2017 E300 and have been shopping for an extended warranty. Most dealers are in the same ballpark but Tafel Motors out of Kentucky is offering a fee of $1900 vs. $3000 from all the other dealers for a 3year/75K option. It seems to good to be true. Any experience w/ Tafel Motors out there? Thanks in advance.

Have you been shopping with the finance reps listed in the extended warranty subforum? I would check there to see if anyone has dealt with them. So long as the contract is a real MB ELW then price doesn't matter. Save on the price (and sales tax if they are out of state) and use your credit card for protection.

ELW with Tafel
I purchased my E300 in January and used Tafel for the extended warranty.
After checking the forum, I called them before making the purchase and they gave me the price. They told me to call back when I had the car and the VIN.
The dealer where I bought the car wouldn't budge on price and said if I didn't buy the warranty when I picked-up the car, he didn't think I could get it.
I went home, gave Talef a call, provided a cc info over the phone and they e-mailed a copy of the warranty immediately and added the info to my Mercedes Me account.
I just looked and I am good through January 26, 2024 or 100,000 miles!
