Hi,

I'm three weeks away from getting my car and really concern about the rattles.
I had an A45 before and the rattles were driving me crazy. I thought that it was because a sports car is firm but, unfortunately, I read here that it is a Merc thing and nothing to do with how firm the car is.
Are there any late 17 builds with rattles? Can someone please confirm?

I have an '18. So far there is not a rattle anywhere.
My only complaint is the seats are hard as a rock.

Yes my 2017 E300 is getting a new sun visor because that was causing a rattle. The good thing about having warranty is if you hear a rattle, you can bring it to the dealership to fix and they'll give you a loaner (if they have).

But yes they do have rattles and if you hear them, then just take it to the dealership to get fixed.

Someone said that i may need to lubricate - so i'm gonna try that becaue it doesnt happen when the window is open 5mm

I've driven this car for 10month now, I have rattle both passenger and driver's doors...very annoying. It makes rattle under certain circumstance that I don't know how. It is not always makes the sound, so I couldn't duplicate the rattle when I was at dealer. The dealer couldn't do anything about it.

noise like very light plastic in the big plastic bowl when car driving. lol
I have to live with it...sigh.

At least with my A45, importer service (we do not have dealers here) didn't help. Actually didn't even tried.
