EPC = MB electronic parts catalog here I can see if control unit is installed in your vehicle by entering your vehicle's VIN (i.e.: WDDZF4KB7JA301071).

Vehicle is not equipped with control unit, data card confirms this since code 877 or 891 is not listed and 150 in diagram is grayed out. If steadfast on having ambient lighting feature various parts will need to be installed and coded - check with dealer.

I have same ambient light issue as you
hi, I have just bought the same car package that don’t include the ambient light kit and I want to install it, so I’m wondering have you solved this issue, I need to benefit from your experience, thank for your aid.

but i can see all the ambient kights atta hed to the doors😣😭😭. Then how come is there no option. Please send me the video i didnt quite get your app thing procedure to turn the lights on.

I think maybe all you can see is the clear plastic light guides that run along wherever the ambient lighting is. These are not like LED strip lights with LEDs all along. No, there’s just a single LED at the end that illuminates the whole plastic light guide. Maybe that’s what not present in your vehicle. If so, you won’t get any ambient lighting even though you can “see” the ambient lights (which in reality, are just the guides).

Attached some info to get a better understanding to attempt retrofit, ambiance illumination control unit is part # 2229001015. If possible, vehicle most likely will need to be coded using Xentry (MB diagnostics).

Ambient light problem
My 2019 E300 (W213) just got An Ambient problem this evening, All my doors ambient lights are off, but the ambient on the dashboard and the one around the console works, Only the door ones are off. Any help?
