Now I finally see the reasoning for buying the 350e. It's not about fuel, it's price. That said, I believe my e43 will be my last pure gas car. All manufacturers are moving to gas electric and pure electric and I'm OK with that. I believe they will be superior performing cars.

I'm hoping to buy one of the new MB's with the M256 hybrid engine. It's US debut will probably arrive as a 2019 CLS450. There may be one at the upcoming LA auto show in December.

Mercedes Benz E200 Avantgarde 2016 + MercedesBenz GLC250 4Matic 2016
Mercedes said that the car could comsume 2-3L/100 km. From reset ( 1500km ), my car was able to maintain 8L/100km which is not even close to what Mercedes said. Just as Eran, i did not buy it because of the fuel economy, its cheaper, and give more power.

At the moment it is showing 14 miles on a full charge but the range drops quickly as soon as you push on a little and about 50mpg on my commute to work, 38 miles with being 31 motorway.

Is there a way to disable the haptic feedback?

Leave it in comfort/sport/sport+ mode and not individual as that's the one you having a issue with. Check the individual setting and see if ECO is selected for drive preference as that might be the reason why your getting heptic feedback.
Thats interesting that its cheaper taxed and more performance then the E200, I wouldn't want to be driving the same car as the taxi drivers either...Also, have the taxi drivers switched to the E350e?
Are full electric cars taxed at all or are they tax free in Israel?

Mercedes gave those figures while the car was inside of a flat airless tunnel, thats how they achieved those figures.

As I mentioned before, I use sport for driving mode in individual and not eco.
I prefer that way as I want to maintain the comfortable steering and comfortable suspension but have the driving in performance.

As much as I know, taxi drivers keeps on buying the diesel versions. We do not have stations to replace the battery of the electric engine so we do not have electric only cars at all.

Hi Eran,

I live in Ireland and the electric is the most expensive (1.5 times as much as diesel). The driving modes don't impact suspension unless you have air suspension option, they only impact gear box, engine and steering.

Try turning of Eco assists off in the individual setting screen.

In that case I envy you because it probably means that with the 130K usd I have spent, I could have bought a faster model (maybe even the E63 or at least the E43)
As much as I know, air suspension has a better range of comfortable setting then the regular one but maybe I'm wrong. Have you seen that written somewhere?

Hope I'll find that option tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice!

Yes 10K more (in euro) will have gotten you the E63S, but then you would have been paying 1.30 euro per liter for petrol! plus at that money i would have just bought the S class, which starts from around 90K

Believe me, don't even start because you'll loose for sure.
A litter of 98 ron/pump fuel in Israel costs between 1.55 euro to 2.09 euro. Most fuel stations cell it for 2 euro. An S class starts at around 221.500 euro...
Would you like to talk about apartments and houses? Maybe a pint of beer (8-9 euro at a bar)?

WHAT that's terrible I would have thought petrol was much cheaper in Israel. I was working on a project for an Israeli company last year, would have loved to visit but never got the chance (BioTechnology General in Ber Tuvia)

You only pay for 8-9 euro in the rip-off areas like Temple Bar in Dublin, it's usually 3€ in most other places, 4€ if you stretch it for good stuff.

Apartments and house prices are on the rise. 2 bed apartments in my city are few as no one is building right now, and they're around 230k++, houses, 4 bedroom detached in my city (Cork) will run you about 350k, 450k-550k in good areas. Most people can't afford this because banks only give you 3.5x your total income as mortgage. So you need 2 people in the house working and making at least 70-80k each, which is a lot. I make a little bit more than this because I'm contracting/self employed, but then they don't give self employed people mortgages here and if I worked as staff, I would be making half as much. Also, if you're single and say making 7K a month, you will be taking home around 4K. This is a lot more than 90+% of irish people take home every month, and would be closer to the take-home household income for the top 60 or 70%.

House prices etc are insane in Dublin, you will easily pay 400K for a 2bed apartment in most places, 4 bed detached houses are usually around 700k+++ 900K+ in nice areas.

At least the prices of apartments and houses are close to the price in Israel. My apartment is a 2 bedroom apartment and it's about 515K. In Tel Aviv it'll be 600K-700K easy.
Anyhow, I think we have drifted far too much from the topic of this thread

This is what I was talking about, glad you got it to turn off. Btw, did you receive a quick start guide card in your owner manual, it points out how everything along with this option.

Dont get started on housing prices, come to LA. A 2 bd room apartment is now at 1 million
