If the wrong person gets their hands on a car they could wipe out a bunch of people in a matter of minutes. We'd best not have pictures of cars either, I guess? :p

I have not had any squeaks or rattles, but I must confess that I have not driven it that much yet. It is more of a weekend car and a few trips to the gym each week (I telecommute). However, I had to replace the entire Comand unit, which would reboot while I was driving. I had a few other minor cosmetics issues, but the Dealer has been impeccable from a customer service perspective. Each time, they would drop off a loaner at my house (about 50 miles away) and pick up my car. And once done, they would return my car and pick up the loaner. I also picked up a nail in the same tire twice in a 3 month period, and each time the dealer replaced it as customer goodwill. So for the most part, the car has performed very well and I get compliments all the time.

False equivalency on steroids! It is not worth an ounce of intellectual capital entertaining any kind of grown-up debate about such an asinine assertion. So let's get back to cars. What wealth of insightful information can you share with other W213 owners? Don't let the sound of crickets drown out your voice.

The W213 has a lot of new safety features intended to ameliorate personal injury of vehicle occupants. Other forms of personal protection are similarly important.
In the US there are many vehicle deaths as there are firearm deaths. How do you wish to die not of old age or ill health? Select either method.

What is interesting is that the OP quickly addressed my observation in a smart and thoughtful way and then quickly moved on to talking about the W213. But some other guy would not have any of hat grown-up exchange, so he just kept pulling out these non-sequiturs from places where light does not shine.

The car is at a well known local auto shop getting 3M 5% tint and a ton of paint protection from SunTek. I'll take some updated photos once it's done and we have a good day of sunshine!

Okay the 3M tint and Suntek paint protection were installed and turned out great! We also just bought and installed the velour thick luxury floor mats and I must say, they are very worth it. They help deaden vibrations coming up through the floor pan into your heel as you drive. And as a passenger it feels great to pop your shoes off and kick back!
I have some other goodies on the way that I'll post about later.
Sorry about the iPhone photos!!!!

NFAREVIEW: Beautiful!!! Great color, and with the window tint, the car looks amazing! Did the price you mentioned in your earlier post include the tint as well as the SunTec PPF clear bra?

Thanks man! Let me go grab the invoice from MCOR....ok it was $1259 OTD. That included the following: 3M FX 5% Limo Tint, SunTec PPF on 1/4 hood, 1/4 fenders, entire bumper, headlights, A-Pillars (incl the black trim piece), roofline in front of the moon roof, behind door handles, and trunk/bumper deck for luggage protection. The install job takes two days so be prepared for that. The did a great job and even masked off the door panels so water and soap didn't get everywhere from the tint work. The car looks GREAT with the 5% and the privacy is relaxing.
