If you have modified your engine...bigger turbo, injectors or throttle body, for example...re-mapping is probably called for to maximize those mods. Otherwise I will side with skeptic cautiousness that some guy with a laptop knows more than the MB enginmodes. Others can test drive (Guinea pig) these devices.

If you have modified your engine...bigger turbo, injectors or throttle body, for example...re-mapping is probably called for to maximize those mods. Otherwise I will side with skeptic cautiousness that some guy with a laptop knows more than the MB engineers. Others can test drive (Guinea pig) these devices.

I got the module in, followed the instructions, plug into port, hold down pair button for 5 seconds turn car off and then on and I am good to go. Well. As expected, it did nothing at all. It did light up, but as far as performance goes, nothing. When I spoke to the seller, he said that the module increases the air the turbo puts out and would give me a 40HP/50TQ increase in performance.
I sent him an email he is willing to refund my money but truly believes that the unit I received is faulty. He is sending me a reprogrammed upgraded unit and if that does not work will refund my money. I will say the customer service and response time is good.
Do not buy, does not work. Hopefully an actual engine tune comes out for the E-Class.
