Trip Odometers

I just purchased a E400 2018. Is there only one trip odometer in this car? I have found one that shows the total miles driven in the car and above that is a trip mileage. I would like to monitor more than one mileage. On my longer trips , I like to see the total miles driven and miles between refueling stops. The salesman nor the technical guy could not answer this question. All help appreciated.

There is an odometer in the fuel efficiency display that shows distance since start. It automatically resets after a lengthy period of time (perhaps 4 hours). I have not found another odometer.

there's an odo that restets after 4 hrs of not using car and an odo that u need to reset yourself
and in the phone app there's an odo that rests after each startup (though it doesn't seem to work so well).

Could you elaborate more about the odometer in the phone app. BTW, I happen to like the default odometer that treats "to and from" trips within that 4 hour window as one trip, but I do miss the convenience of not seeing overall miles, econony, etc. in the Progressive display.

in the app go to trips, here you have:
trips from start
trips from reset
trips last journey

as to not seeing the ODO meter in progressive screen:
I think it's possible but will test it tomorrow and let you guys know

It's not in the U.S. version of the phone app, which is next to useless.

I don't use the trip odometers,so I have two MPG readings.

One is for the particular drive I've done that day.

The other is the MPG since I started 'the trip'.Since I don't reset it,the MPG reading represents the MPG for the total duration of my ownership.

I noticed the discrepancy between the speedo and the cruise speed. I see 1 mph differences between the HUD speed and the instrument cluster speed regularly.

How do you get the driver assistance display in the center panel along with the spedo? I can only get it into the left panel.

How are you managing to get 5.3 l/100km? The best I've gotten so far was 6.0 l/100km. I would have beaten it today but it was raining.

2017: Centered no matter which display mode you're using
2018: Centered for Sport / Classic, left panel for Progressive.

@Egonvdv: Ah, yes, I forgot about the diesels... given all the trouble Volkswagen's gotten in, very likely we'll never see another diesel Mercedes in the USA. Sadly. I really wanted their diesel-electric hybrid powertrain. Ridiculously good fuel efficiency from those.

very efficient indeed and mine's not even a hybrid.
But diesel is finished... more and more cities are boycotting them (over 15 years age)
France has always been a diesel country (not necessarily because people drive much
but it was just "the culture") , but sales are starting to plunge here.
Toyota will even stop diesel sale in Europe all together...
I wonder what i'll be getting in 2.5 years time when my lease is up...

MB hopefully will make a 4 cylinder version of the new M256 hybrid I-6 engine before your lease is up.
