Accuracy of W213 0 to 100 times
 

Hi all

Just bought my first MB (E250) and was just wondering how accurate the 0 to 100 time in the brochure is ( 6.9s in the case of my car ). Do MB overstate, understate or state accurately the 0 to 100 times in your collective experience?

I know 0 to 100 times are difficult to measure as timings can be affected my many factors but I am still curious to hear from those who have timed their cars.

MB usually understates for the US market because of possible lawsuits. Example: E43 MB time 0 to 60 MPH 4.5 sec. Car mag time 4.2sec. Also keep in mind temperature and altitude can affect times.
