Brown Ash Wood Interior Trim

Does anyone have any real-life photos of the Brown Ash Wood trim (code H06)? It's basically the dark brown wood with a glossy finish. I am interested in getting this trim but the dealer does not have any cars in stock so I can see the wood in person. I'm wondering if the wood is as dark as it appears on the online configurator, and I'm wondering how the wood grain looks. Attached is the image from the 2019 order guide. Thanks!

The OP is looking for the gloss version, not natural as you've shown.

I went through a lot of photos and am pretty sure this is the wood you're asking about. It is pretty dark, but really pretty to my eyes.

Again, not what the OP asked about. He's asking about the glossy, not natural finish.

AFAIK the glossy brown wood is what I have - 731 Burred Walnut Veneer.

Yes, Burl Walnut is 731. The finish the OP is asking also a gloss wood and is Brown Ash H06, which differs from Natural Brown Ash H09. There's also the Designo gloos piano lacquer.

I've never seen a gloss brown ash, only the natural finish. It must be new for 2019 models. It isn't on the MBUSA web site.

Has anyone read post 5?

Brown Ash Wood (H06) is a current wood, per the 2018 MBUSA Build Configurator for 2018 Model Year and continues into 2019. It's a darker brown, high gloss finish.

The car pictured in the link has burred walnut trim and steering wheel. The only reason I got burred walnut trim is because that was the only wood offered for the MY18 steering wheel. Otherwise I would have gotten the brown ash trim.

I considered that trim when I ordered my E300, but the steering wheel wasn't available with that trim and to me the trim was medium gloss, not high gloss.

Yes, having a wood steering wheel that differs from the trim wood, wouldn't be a great option.

I appreciate all of the photos, but I guess most people are as confused as I am. I'm interested in seeing real-life pics of a glossy wood trim called "Brown Ash Wood." I guess it's not very common. It's available when you configure an E-Class on MBUSA though, and it looks glossy on the configurator.

I'm pretty positive the picture I posted above is the right color and finish.

The gloss finish, over time the lacquer fades with time and the sun hence will need to be replaced. Better off going with the natural ash I provided the pics the feel is more realistic than the gloss. The black ash wood has the lacquer and it looks unnatural.

in the Australian spec CLS, the high gloss brown ash looks like this. As the CLS is the based on the E Class, it gives you the right idea

I opened it too. But I don't believe the verbiage stating it's Brown Ash is correct. It matches the steering wheel, which is Burl Walnut. Brown Ash is darker.

This person is correct I just went to see it myself in Catonsville MD if you happen to be near there
