Help with color scheme/trim package E53 AMG Cabriolet
Looking for opinions on the set up of my E53AMG Cabriolet order. I've driven black on black BMWs for the past 14 years and now I'm definitely looking for something different - but not weird. My wife doesn't want the lunar blue, which I love, and I dont want white (wife drives a white BMW) so here are my two top choices; please vote in my poll, and thanks for your input.
- Selenite grey exterior, nappa leather black/red two tone seats, black ash wood (or the black flowing lines) trim, RTZ wheels (5 spoke AMG with black accents), black top.
- Cardinal red exterior, nappa leather black/saddle brown two tone seats, brown ash wood trim, RTY wheels (5 spoke AMG without black accents), black top.

Interior and exterior preferences are just that. A preference. Neither combination you've posted would be nicer than the other IMHO. You should go with the combination that makes your heart beat just a little faster than the other. Logic has nothing to do with it.

What I find great about the E43 trim options, not sure about the E53 is the ability to have a base option. basically just the engine upgrade. All the way up to high end leather and whatever level of comfort package you want.
Its great that you can get what you want, it’s not a one one option production.
Great for a person who just wants the speed and doesn’t really need all the comforts that bring the price up.
