Is there some way to program the seat heaters and heated steering wheel to turn on when using the remote start in the winter?

In my 2018: No, but starting car remotely does get cabin temp up quickly, and both the heated steering wheel, and the seats and arm rests warm up really fast, so I've never felt uncomfortable for more than a minute after getting in the car. BUT, you are right, and in addition to starting car both seats and steering wheel should have remote activation option. In my wife's 2018 Tesla M3 she can heat seats fro iPhone, but M3 does not have a heated steering wheel, so MB better here.
