Question How to hard wire in car electronics? Dash cam - radar detector

Hi I saw that were several different posts about the ability to hard wire a dash cam for example on the E300. But I searched all of the Google's and I was not able to find any specific how to? I understand that for power to a dash cam or radar detector we can tap into the fuse box. Can someone point me in the direction on where to get the details on this? Which fuse box and wires/fuses etc? TIA.

.
If you want a switched connection, they are all in the fuse panel located in the trunk (right side). If you want a non-switched connection, the closest ones are in the fuses on the left side of the dash panel or in the right side front footwell fuse panel.

How do you run a wire from the trunk into the cabin? Is it difficult?
