I've had good luck with Hankook tires on my wife's car. I have OEM Michelins and they sound/ride a bit harsh. This is also my first car with run flats. haibieb, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Goodyears, should you take her out

I specified Pirelli tires on my order. I've been happy with them.
BTW that bit of rain rbrylaw mentioned had embedded tornadoes and 60+ mph straight line winds. I kept my baby in the garage.

Our E400 has Continental's. My new E450 came with Pirelli Cinturato's. My C300 had these tires and I loved them. After 3 years, they showed virtually no wear at all. I hope I'm as happy with them on my 450.

I just don't get why they can't rectify your issue. Replace relevant component(s) if need be in your car. It seems like you have a good relationship with your dealer, I hope they can help you get this resolved shortly.

I'm sure they'll get it sorted. The lady I spoke with this morning at Me Connect, said there have been others like me and they were able to trace the issue via software. We'll see. Mercedes has never really been very good at getting apps to work well.

2022 GLE 450 (Black on Black)
Finally, this morning, Darth Vader was taken out of the garage for a spin around Jupiter. The car is really nice, the Burmester radio is truly outstanding in its sound quality and the engine a slight "growl"
when accelerating. And the "me Connect" continues to impress me with its timely notifications.

Really glad you got to take her out and have some fun behind the wheel. My "me connect" still continues to be in a perpetual slumber. With no follow up from MB, I'm wondering if I'll ever get to see what it's capable of doing other than vicariously through you?

It is frustrating for sure. And none of my repeated attempts to Me Connect provides any idea of what, other than it's been escalated they're doing. This is the first time anything about a new MB car has been a disappointment. I'm not going to give great marks when the survey comes out, that's for sure.

I'd be fine if I could use the Mercedes Me app. That would be fine. But noooooo, the Mercedes Me app doesn't do anything for a 2019. It's the Me Connect that now you use for a 2019. So if this is functioning as designed, in my case it was designed to not work at all. LOL

Yes, the app name is Mercedes Me Connect. In the car however, The i button has been replaced with a button in its place labeled "Me Connect." And the services are referred to as Me Connect Services.
