Will Mb replace tirefit liquid after flat tire?
Got a flat today.
actually i had already noticed the screw in my tire 2 days ago and passed by the tire shop.
they said it was time to change the rear tires anyway, so i placed an order which would arrive coming Friday.
Unfortunately the didn't offer to repair the tire temporarily and I (naively) thought i could keep driving for 3 more days (since tire did not lose any air)
Boy was i wrong: this mornng the tire deflated in seconds on the motor/high-way. - I guess the screw had been blown out.
tried tt repair it with tirefit, but hole was too big so called road assistance, who luckily were able to repair the tire on the spot.
All together i was there for "only" 1.5hrs.
Now my question is; since mercedes pays all for this, will they also give me a new tirefit kit? -
I called the info line today but they didn't know ..???
it's not extremely expensive, but if i can save 50 euros I gladly do so :-)

To my knowledge our cars are not equipped with these at all. While OP didn't say, I'm guessing he doesn't have RFT's on his European E Class. In Europe, they can choose non RFT tires, and get the tire repair kit. In the US, we only get RFT, which can't (or more correctly shouldn't) be repaired.

i have a repair kit (pump + liquid) had no choice; they don't deliver with spares anymore here in France.
it's nice, cos you got more storage, but in situations like yday i wish i did haver one!.
so if they don't give me new liquid for free, it means it's always better to call assistance since this is free.
i guess the tirefit is only to be used in case there is no assistance around..

Sorry to hear of your hassle.
i suspect they will not pay too. But i would ask as you can point out you were trying to avoid having to call them out which you needed to do anyway as their system did not work!
i have run flat winter tyres i bought them as a "pack". Mercedes offer 2 choices of wheel design and thpack which is the same as my summer wheels came with dunlop runflat. Until today i noticed no difference in noise if anythingbthe winters are a tad quieter. But it has been -2 all day and they feel harder and are just a tad noisier. The weather has been much warmer this year over the 7deg range of the tyres so it is good to have a cold spell to justify the cost!
not sure run flats really are an answer though cannot see me being able to get to my garage on a punctured tyre.....
