Beg your PARDON? Donatello in Tampa is fabulous and very authentic, down to the look of the family, who are reminiscent of the perfect Italian crime family from NY. Their lobster in Linguine is a true delight prepared side table where the lobster is perfectly de-shelled (up to 3lb'ers) and then sauteed in a pan with a perfect light tomato sauce. Now, I hope I leave you hungry AND drooling! LOL
Donatello is one of my favorite restaurants. I try to go there every week or two.

We had our first winter snow overnight and the roads we're quite icy this morning. So I took my wife's car to work and left the merc at home safe and sound - and clean!

Who are you responding too? I'm the thread starter, so if you are responding to me, they were ceramic coated before delivery. Then waxed with a high quality pure Carnauba wax. Neither car has or should need to be clay barred.

Nearly all new vehicles are contaminated as soon as they leave the factory. Just the fact that they are shipped across the seas and transported via truck, means they can be subjected to contaminates along the way.
My car is new and never seen rain or snow so far, and I plan on getting it ceramic coated this spring. I'll definitely have clay barred the car to make sure it's pristine before having them coat it.

Regarding the claybarring, actually paradoxically they can and usually do benefit from it. Most new cars sit unprotected for weeks before being shipped via train or transport. They'll be exposed to all kinds of stuff. If they're transported via train, you're getting huge exposure to iron.
One other question - your cars were ceramic coated AND waxed?

No offense intended. I was just curious how you cleaned them as they looked great.
Regarding the claybarring, actually paradoxically they can and usually do benefit from it. Most new cars sit unprotected for weeks before being shipped via train or transport. They'll be exposed to all kinds of stuff. If they're transported via train, you're getting huge exposure to iron.

When I bought my car I knew I was going to have to clay bar it. There was mud stuck to sides of the doors on my test drive! idk how haha, Unfortunately not all brand new cars are as squeaky clean as Rods. Lol
I didn’t think I was going to need to clay bar it until I’m washing it and running my hands over the soapy paint and felt bumps everywhere. The entire car has just a little something on all panels. After more then a year, paint is fine. No clay bar needed.

i hear you. i hate cleaning. but in mine now i like it. or better, i don't like it, but i'm anxious to see it shine so I want to get it cleaned fast 
and since i know that the more you postpone cleaning the more difficult it is to get it perfectly looking i do small wash and care more frequently.
i also placed a PPF and ceramic coating so it is even easier to maintain. but I'm always envy of you guys and how you can keep your cars looking so good. I always had problems cleaning cars. no matter how careful I am i always get some debris that place some swirl marks or even small scratches on the paint. I guess the way to go is using a pressure water system and give it a good wash to remove the heavier dirt, then use a foam canon and then very gently wash it with a very soft sponge/mitt and then use the pressure water again.
the less you touch the paint the better

I only need a spray of water from a hose bib to remove all but the most clingy dirt such as bee pollen. I wash my car exterior about once a month. It takes about 5 minutes. I apply Maguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax (a polymer) after washing - about 20 minutes. It is so slippery that an item such as a bottle of Invisible Glass cleaner placed on the hood will slide off. I clean the interior as needed, usually bi-weekly.

Definitely love to clean mine, I hate a dirty car. I apply at least 2 coats of Turtle's Carnauba Paste Wax a week to mine, just to enhance the shine and make it that much easier to clean if it rains.
