No because the amg line dinamica/ artico seats are pretty nice and the nappa leather which was the only leather option with amg line was close to 3000usd which is ridicolous.

Yes, because I wanted ventilated seats - not because I like them, but because if you don't, you get a blank button on the front door where the ventilated seat button goes. I hate being reminded of things I could have had...

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I have MB tex in my Wagon and the Artico seats in my Cabriolet. I can compare them on a daily basis. I feel the MB tex in my wagon is a tougher material, that MB tex is practically indestructible, whereas the Artico is softer and has a better feel to it. Time will tell how the Artico holds up long term. If it starts failing thats one reason I bought the extra warrantee on the interior and don't have to simply rely on the factory warrantee incase they fail to cover any damage or tears. I do feel I will have issues with the Artico down the road, I'm already starting to see creases in it and I only have 1800 miles on the Cabrio so far.

So I guess it is suppose to be leather in my Cabriolet, I was not sure. It does have the ventilated seat option and the multi contour seats too. It is a nice material and a lot softer to the touch than the wagon which is definitely the Artico and kinda course rough and tough. But thats ok I'm in and out of that car all day and it should hold up well over the years.

I had no choice. The E450 CAB comes standard with leather, with only the optional Nappa leather and the Deisgno series. I actually prefer the studier standard leather over the Nappa in that it wears and ages better IMO. Less creases, etc.

Another yes, because living in Florida, ventilated seats are a must. I have had many MB's with MB-Tex and it's virtually indestructible.
