blind spot assist inoperable W213 2017

good afternoon all ..

i've got a W213 2017 Eclass and still in warranty

- i got a blind spot assist inoperable msg and visited the dealer and they fix it and mentioned it was a programming issue ..
- one week later it returned back .. visited them again and this time they mentioned that the Radar sensor on the black bumper has been moved from its place and you will need to fix it as it is not covered by warranty
- i removed the back bumper and fixed the radar sensor back to its place very well .. and the message didn't disappear
- i went back to the dealer and this time they told me that still some round sensors are not fixed . ( i know that the round sensor has nothing to do with blind spot ) , this time i asked for a diagnosis report and they mentioned that they will charge me 100$ for that and i accepted the cost to get some official papers with the problem

i have another problem that the drive assist view on the dash is not working and they mentioned that it is tied with the blind spot issue ..

am seeking some guidance from the experts here .. thanks in advance

Ayman

He has a 213, not a 212. He has a 2017 e300.

It depends on where he is. In some countries the 2017 model was a W212. In North America the 2017 model was a W213.

The only guidance I can give you is try to use a different MB dealer if possible. If it's under warranty, you don't want to do anything more on your own which may mess up your radar unit (sounds like the last owner did).

Here's the point: they claimed they fixed the blind spot problem and they didn't. The onus is on them IMO to make it right.
