🤔 Keeping beige perforated leather clean

I have a 2019 E450 due at the end of June.

It includes: P87; designo Macchiato Beige / Saddle Brown Nappa Leather Interior

Waxes/cleaners I’ve used before with perforated seats have been problematic, with the cleaner/wax clogging up the perforations.

Any recommendations for keeping these light seats clean without the clogging issues?

Thanks, HBH

My wife' car has a similar interior. Mild soap and water works. Blue jeans are a no no.

.
I've use Meguiar's products for decades without any issues. They have a general purpose leather detailer as well as specialized leather/fabric cleaners for removing protein stains and tannin stains. The specialized cleaners work well on beige carpets.

To deal with the perforations, I never use product directly on the seat but rather put a few dabs on a clean rag and lightly spread on the rag before application.

What do people do when people get in the car wearing blue jeans? I'm having all these irrational fears of my partner getting in the car with his blue jeans and staining these gorgeous designo seats!!!

If you as the driver wear blue jeans all the time, you will notice a light bluish tinting to the lower seat outside bolster over time. This results when you enter and leave the car and the blue die in the jeans gradually transfer to the seat. It can't be avoided, unless you wear other pants, like tan khakis, instead.

Sit on a towel is the only way.

it was simple. Instead of spraying the cleaner on the seat, I spray the cleaner (lightly) on the cloth and then clean the seat. It was that simple.

If you do need to clean out the perforations, try one of those interdental flossing brushes. It's a lot of work to do each perforation one at a time, but it works!

Watch this vid of how to remove dirt/jeans marks from your seats. It worked fantastically on my beige seats.
