New owner: 2 questions RE locking & navigation voice

I am a very happy owner of a 2019 E450. Picked it up a week ago.

I have a pretty good handle on all the functions, but have two questions I haven't quite figured out yet.

[1] Is there any setting that has the car automatically lock when you exit and walk away (with the key, obviously), or do you always have to touch the door handle? (I'm coming off 6 years of having a Tesla and am missing that feature).

[2] Is there a way to make the navigation voice prompts default to always off? I'm having to turn them off every time I enter a new destination.

Thanks!

To the first question.

If you do forget to touch the door handle, you will quickly receive a notification via the Mercedes Me app and you can lock it remotely from the same app.

Not sure about question 2 and would be very interested if you can.

Regarding auto lock - I am sure mine licks automatically when I walk away with the key and leave it alone. I’ll check though.

as advised hereabove that's a "no" on automatic locking &
also "no" on voice. you have to deactive after each restart
