Looking for best rear seat dog cover for 2017 E300 Sedan
I used to have the OEM rear seat cover for my dog for my 2009 E350 and it was the BEST! But now that i have a 2017 E300 and I cannot find a factory cover (I guess they are no longer making them??) I had ordered one from Amazon that was not super expensive and was thoroughly disappointed. It slid all over the place and my dog just ended up on the seat anyway. Does anyone have a recommendation on a cover that will stay put and will work as well as the old factory version? I expect to pay more than i did on the Amazon purchase. Thanks!
I picked up the Meadowlark with the mesh between the front seats. I have a 2" foam pad underneath it and instead of setting it up to protect the doors I folded the ends under the pad. It works really well for the few times we've used it (Covid has reduced dog trips to near zero).
This works well with my two Pugs in my E450 sedan. Of course, found on Amazpn. There are two handles or paddles that fit between the seat and back of the back seat that anchors the bottom. It holds up well and is easy to clean (that is saying a lot for Pugs who shed constantly)
I have the Weathertech one and it is less than useless. It will not stay in place and the rear teathers are too short. The battery manager I got from them also failed albeit after a number of years.
Have you looked at Orvis. They have a whole catalog dedicated to dog beds, travel items, etc.
We have their couch covers for our leather couches and they work great. Have not tried any of their car items.
I have 2 flat coated retrievers - 1 80lb and 1 60lb - that truly believe they are lap dogs.
