Updated OS on comand?
Hi all,
I have a w213 220d from 2016 probably one of the first ones out there:-) what I have seen on several youtube videos, is that there are several different OS versions for the widescreen comand version(which I have) there is ofcourse the amg versions... but I am more interested in standard versions from 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. I can see on youtube that there is an updated version which looks alot more bright in colors, faster in menus, and has several functions that my os lack... for example:
ability to run mercedes navigation alongside applecarplay
ability to change f.x. Display look on the left thumb(my car being a LHD) - mine only lets me change in center display with the media rotary buttion
So would anyone know if there would be a possibility to update the OS so it will run f.x. The 2020 OS on my 2016 model?
I would prefer answers from people who know rather than people who assume... I am fully capable of making assumptions myself:-)
