2021 E350 Prepaid Maintenance Cost

When you put the maintenance contract into the lease it is residualized: if the residual is 59%, then you will only pay for 41% of the cost of maintenance contract.
On my 2019 E450 and the my Mercedes before it, I put the maintenance contract into the lease. This is the way you should do it.
If you go for 30,000 miles, three years, get the two year maintenance agreement which is service at 10,000 and 20,000 miles. You will turn in the car before the the third service.

If you are leasing, are you planning on keeping the car beyond 40,000 miles? If not then the 3 year, 30,000 miles is sufficient.
Keep in mind that beyond 30,000 miles you probably have to replace the tires and might have to also do the brakes. When you do your lease calculations do not forget to add those costs in.
Just found this:
E class is Tier 1
- 2 year $970
- 3 year $1280
- 4 year $1760

For example my dealer routinely runs specials for the A service at $199 and about $400 on he B service - but there are over 20 MB dealers within 50 miles all competing for my business. If you have only one dealer to go, service specials may not be there.
IMO, the only time it makes sense to purchase the prepaid maintenance is when you can put it into the lease. Then the maintenance is residualized.
