Hi all do u know where can be problem?..MB service have no idea, like they said..warning means: "Engine Oil Pressure Low. Stop Engine immediately"..did someone have same problem?. where to start? sensor oil pressure?..or just computer bug?..if oil have rly bad pressure i think i couldnt make few tousands of km...this warning show maybe few times a year and doesnt matter if engine is hot or cool..just show when it wants, but in MB said "we dont know" and let me go home with it. thx for any advice
Request they proactively replace oil pressure switch under warranty. If uncooperative in doing so, demand dealer get technical assistance from MB direct.
Did they checked it via Star Diagnostics? If so, ask them to give you list with error codes. I can't agree with argument that MB can't fix it.. Did you checked it in official MB dealer or indy car workshop ?
ofc i did it at mb dealer..they didnt want to believe me till i show them this pic..cs when i came to mb..it didnt show already..my colleague had same problem...warning like my..nothing solved at mb service..no errors..

Been ongoing for a couple of years now since I bought it - pressure sensor replaced with no change, became more and more frequent and MB did a re-program of some module and it went away for 6 months or so, and now comes on but very rarely, maybe once every few months. I've chosen just to live with it as I figured it was a wiring fault like a loom breaking down, but knowing others have the same problem means it's definitely a software problem somewhere.
pressure switch is acting up, the car being overfilled also has a tendency to fire this warning more often.
Not a W213 specific thing, the cars have been doing this for a while, especially if youre driving downhill it seems.
Hell my S550 4.7L did that when I'm going downhill. I don't want to assume we have the same problem, but I replaced the pressure switch with the next oil change and so far so good.
