Right procedure for recharging battery

Hi guy, it’s been a while since I’ve post threads here, but after I got promotion at work with privet driver I haven’t use my car very often. So I got a few messages for weak battery. I have CTEK test&charge 5.0 (which is the oem battery charger) but when my car is at dealer and they plug it the charger in to the car I got message on MercedesMe that the car is attached to battery charger. But when I’m doing it at home there is no such a thing. No msg, no notification on phone. What the he’ll I’m doing wrong or is there any special procedures or stages that I have to do ?
ps. I know the option in menu for long period of non driving the car (don’t like it and don’t use it). Thanks in advance.

Unless your charger has a Mercedes tri-star logo on it, it is not an OEM charger. The Mercedes charger is more money and made by CTEK but it sounds like there is some factory modification on the Mercedes OEM charger.
