Question 2019 E63S Boost sensor Check Engine light

Hi all, want to get your opinion on code P0240. “Turbocharger Boost Sensor (B) circuit range/performance.” Active. Car runs fine. What could cause this? Which is the best way to get to the boost sensors. Which side is A and which side is B? Appreciate the insight.

I'd start by changing the boost pressure sensor and the actual turbo and it's components. I've had the same code and it ended up being my turbo waste gate actuator. It was leaking and wasn't holding vacuum properly.

If all else checks out, I'd bring it to a shop to get it diagnosed. Those 63 AMG motors are a hassle to troubleshoot.

Where roughly is the pressure sensor located? Which is the easiest way to get to it? Thanks for the reply!

You have a couple of pressure sensors. I'm not exactly sure where they are on the E63, but mine were on the air intake box right before the air filter, and the other one is near the intercooler box. You should have a total of 4.

I would post on the W213 AMG forum and see if someone else had that same issue as you. Most folks on the W213 regular E Class forum aren't familiar with the AMG engines.

As per @Billyismyname mentioned,

you want to post this in the AMG/E Class/W213 forum. The AMG w213 came with the M177 V8 TT engine which has TWO turbos and a split manifold intake that is not shared between banks.
