Passenger seat heater button

Mercedes E-class 220d W213 Saloon
Passenger seat heater button
Hi lads, wondering if anyone had similar issue as me with passenger seat heater button. So basically it works only if I press on the passenger door button. But if I press from drivers door to turn on the passenger seat, it lights up red for few seconds then it turns off. Any ideas why it's happening and how it can be sorted?

That shouldn't make a difference. I've used the driver's side door button to turn on the passenger seat heat so that it's warmed up when my wife arrives.
