Window Reset - won't close all the way

My drivers window (2019 E400) needs some sort of a reset. When I go to close it in either one touch or manual (incremental) modes, once it reaches the very top it then drops down 2 or 3 inches and stops. I've tried the various "fixes" I found online about holding the button for 10 seconds with the window all the way open and then the same with it all the way closed - except I can't get it all the way closed to do step two. Any ideas? Perhaps a link to instructions or a video that actually worked? FYI - This cropped up suddenly - without me disconnecting or charging the battery which I understand can trigger window closing issues.

A decent MB scanner will help you retrain your door module under 5mn... done

you could try disconnecting the battery negative terminal for 20 minutes, then after reconnecting do the window reset procedure as in all the way down, hold for 2 seconds, all the way up, hold for 2 seconds

With the master switch: lower the window fully and hold the button down for 2 seconds, then raise fully and hold up for 2 seconds. Don't release between movements.

Might need Xentry adaptation for this.

The first step works fine but as soon as I raise it up it drops back down. If I hold the button up for any length of time (I usually see people call for 10 seconds) it doesn't solve the issue.

Same happen to me previously.

for the window going up all the way, try to lift the switch half way, then release quickly, repeat until it is all the way. Once it is all the way up, lift the switch fully for whatever seconds above thread said. For mine, I hold it for about 5 seconds.

hope you got this resolved
