I had no issues with it at all, the most it would sit for was about a week and 1/2. Battery tender jr was recommended by them for trickle charging.
Actually made a "box" style mount for it to attach in the factory location. Which I'll include.

I know both Fed ex and UPS both ship to AUS, but I believe you would need to get a quote? I think its because you need to give them weight and dimensions..
