It wasn't until this thread that I realized that there is no 53 badging what so ever on any of the EQS AMG press vehicles, further demonstrating the point made in the thread. Maybe a 63 will become a future EQ trim with a tri-motor design?

The Mercedes EQE 500 4matic is currently on its last winter test in Lapland
Even if no EQE T model is planned, the Mercedes EQE (V295), which has been rolling off the assembly line at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen since the end of 2021, will be expanded into a small family with 5 drive variants. In addition to the two AMG EQE models already presented with up to 687 hp, there is also a civilian EQE with 4matic. The EQE 500 4matic with 408 hp.
All variants should have the 90.56 kWh battery (except for the EQE 300).
A battery that is smaller for the EQE 300 with a volume of 72 kWh battery (8 modules instead of 10 battery modules) actually makes little sense, since the battery voltage would then drop further. While the 12 module battery with 400 V already reduced to 330 volts with the 90.56 battery with 10 modules, the battery voltage with the same modules with 8 modules would drop to 264 volts. The charging power would drop to just 132 kW at a maximum of 500A on the HPC fast chargers. Such a battery variant was clearly denied at the IAA.
Farasis supplies too few battery cells
Apparently you don't have enough cells so that they can be kept ready for the EQS 350 and the other EQE motorizations of the EQE. The EQE 300 probably gets cells from another supplier and has a 3-4 kWh lower capacity. The EQE 350+ will probably only be produced until summer 2022. Then the other more expensive EQE variants are available. You will then receive the batteries. The EQE 350+ should then probably pause for 6-9 months and only start again in 2023, when enough batteries are available.
Such a fiasco was last seen when the EQC was started up. Initially 500 units were produced there and then paused for a few months.

Anyway, looking forward to the upcoming EQE reviews.
