Placed an 580 order in November with no allocation yet , I found by browsing Mercedes website a EQS 580 edition one at a smaller dealer outside of Montreal ( 150 KM ) I paid msrp and had great service . Trade in a Tesla S long range plus .
Love the car exept that I find the user interface much less friendly than The Tesla ,

Bravo pour ta super bagnole! J'ai aussi une EQS580 et l'aime beaucoup! Je demeure dans le mid-west des EU et utilise également des pneus d'hiver (ce qui est rare ici). Laisse nous savoir quelle performance (KW/km) tu réalises en climat froid!
I just got back from my dealer. I put my preorder in for a 580 back in June 2021. I was originally 7 on the list of 580’s from my dealer. I found out today I am number 2 on the preorder list. My dealer has one allocation now for a 580 and it’s for a June build date. The interesting part about my order is that as of today my car is listed in both the 2022 and 2023 model years order bank. My salesman said it just popped up on the 2023 list and is identical to the order on the 2022 list. He said Mercedes did this, no one at the dealership did it. So, not sure if I will get one of the last 2022 models or one of the first 2023 models.

I just sold my Model S Performance and picked up a 580. I agree with your assessment of the MB software. It's all there and then some but not as functional as the Tesla. I don't regret the decision at all however. The interior, fit and finish, and many other little details make the MB a joy to drive. And that Heads Up display!! Crystal clear and extremely useful.

I have the Magno grey on order as well. Looks good in pictures. How do you like it in person? I see in other thread you are getting it wrapped in XPEL. Curious, are you wrapping the entire car? I have film on my front bumper and partial hood, but never have done an entire car. Cost?? Also, what color interior?

My apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread. I was hesitant to get the Matte finish but once I saw the car, I knew I made the right decision. It does require some caution. I'm getting it wrapped with XPEL Stealth PPF next week. There is no way to buff out scratches so if you plan on driving it, it would make sense to get the entire car wrapped. The XPEL Stealth material is also matte so it will not detract from the unique finish.
Here is the interior. I loaded up on leather cleaner. This color shows everything.
I even have the same wheels.
But one big difference, I’m getting mine at MRSP.
I chose the Cirrus Silver exterior color and Black/Space Grey Nappa Leather interior but I'm also paying MSRP. I should have it in my hands around April 10.

Took some time to find the all weather matts but the Dealer finally came up with the correct part number and sent them to me for free. Considering the premium over MSRP that I paid for the car, it was the least he could do.

I wonder if it is possible to buy dark blue floor mats. I know Lloyds Ultimats are available in dark blue, but not sure if they have the EQS in their pattern library or if the blue coordinates well with the biscaya blue.
