Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS53
Excited for this but not sure how we get it?
Has anybody that has taken delivery of their EQS worked out if this is working for them or not? Some press releases and articles mention the requirement for the ‘High-end Burmester 3D Sound System’ which has 17-26 speakers. All the markets I’ve researched look like the EQS only comes with the 15-speaker, 3D Burmester system including mine (Australia) and MB themselves mention in their own press release that it’s coming to the EQS 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve been keeping an eye out on the ‘Dolby Atmos’ text like in the image with the press release appearing on the hyperscreen and it hasn’t appeared yet. Online Music in MBUX does have significantly better sound quality than playing over bluetooth but perhaps its to be activated via an upcoming software update.

(With my tongue only somewhat in my cheek) one of the advantages of being rather hard of hearing is that I don't worry about how music sounds in my 450 - I never turn on the radio!

This seems to be a good article confirming it is available in the 15-speaker EQS, EQE etc. It just doesn’t confirm whether there is a software update that activates it.
