No audio output in EQS 580
For the last 24hs, I have been unable to get any audio output in my EQS 580. Nothing works that has any audio output - no terrestrial or satellite radio, no phone, no navigation, no Carplay, or Hey Mercedes. Very strange. I reset the MBUX today and still nothing. All I get is the message. "Playback not active". Has anyone experienced this? Is there a simple solution to this?

I am having the same problem with my 2021 S580 no audio output at all. Every time I connect my phone it says “playback not active”. Someone please help

I get the "playback not active" message every day, when I first enter the car. It goes away as the satellite radio becomes active, and then everything works fine. Sounds like your system is missing a step, and may need a software update or correction by the dealer.
