Interesting about about the power reduction. WE HAVE THE MOST AGRESSIVE SNOW TIRES ON THE PLANET Nokian Hakkapelitta 10 studded Ev on the 450 + because we live in ICY and Snowy Vermont. They are surprisingly quiet for studded because they have foam in them (the Ev model) Enjoy!

I noticed every other car driving quite normally, and sitting and moving at 1-2 mph in a luxury car wasn't very comfortable.
Did this happen to anyone? Is it the tires?

In fact the car has a "severely restricted driving mode" which will limit speed in any direction. It can be defeated on the screen or by disabling the vehicle stability assist (VSA). Using summer tires on any type of snow is extraordinarily dangerous particularly given that these vehicles have so much torque. If you must, use eco mode to try to reduce wheel spin. The severely restricted mode engages when the VSA detects that it can't obtain traction on any wheel. BTW, the amount of snow on the road is immaterial, 1/4 of an inch of snow, can be more slippery than 5 inches, it all depends how icy the snow is.
Is there a "snow mode" on the EQS? If not, what is the best mode for driving in snow? Eco mode with no recuperation?
Normal. Eco can be better but not needed. The traction control system in all EV's is much more effective than in any gas car. Thats why no ICE vehicle can offroad like the Rivian RT and now the G-wagon electric. Instead of reacting to low mu situations, its so fast that it feels virtually predictive. As long as you have the tires appropriate for the weather....
