To assist me in driving and getting into and out of my 450+, I utilize the seat memory buttons: !.use #1 for my memorized driving position, and #3 for my egress/exit position - this has the seat all the way back and lowered for better clearance for my legs and feet.
In the past couple of weeks, after driving into the garage and turning off the power, i press #3. It immediately moves properly into its memorized position - down and back. BUT, when i open the door to get out, the seat then moves forward a couple of inches from its full back position. It's easy to move it backward again, with the seat's power button. I do this and then re-memorize #3 once again. However, the next time I try to exit the car after pushing #3, ti does the moving back, and then, again, moves forward away from its memorized position.
On a couple of times, this has not happened, but most of the time it does.

I don't recall seeing this addressed here before; if it has, I'd value having the link to the thread.
Are you aware of the easy entry/exit feature, which essentially does this automatically? Depending on your driving position it moves the seat and optionally the steering wheel to a position for easy entry and exit. If it's turned on that's what might be moving your seat.
This could be just what I need, although it's appearance a year after I took possession is a puzzle.
