I want to send an email asking to reconsider charging 1200$/year to open up the 0-60 acceleration limit on EQS450 4Matic. Owners of 450 paid the $$$ to get dual motor but MB has locked the full potential of the hardware and is charging 100$/month to get an extra second for 0-60!

Mb just announced pricing. $90/mo, $900/yr or $3k one time cost
I might try it for 1 month to see how big of a difference it is.

Disabled again after being re-enabled for this short period of time. I am told by Mercedes me connect that “entertainment package” will be available for purchase May 1st. I can’t believe that we are being nickel and dimed on 130K vehicle to stream music through Mbux. CarPlay for now…..

I hope they can get their act together soon. Yes, we are beta testers for a new vehicle, but still. They probably should have included the services for free to avoid the headaches for early adopters.

Just got services back
The Mercedes Me store just allowed me to purchase the remainder of the digital extras which included those entertainment features. $150 for 12 months, but all Internet radio and online music et cetera restored. Thought I would share.
