Remember volume from last setting

Remember volume from last setting
As I get used to the EQS, I noticed it doesnt remember your last volume setting when you start the car. Instead, it automatically unmutes whatever audio source you had on last (Sirius, FM, USB, etc.).
I searched around the MBUX menus and couldnt find anything for it to remember the last volume. I even tried to sync my driver profile up with the volume muted, no joy. Is there any way to accomplish this?

My 2021 GLE450 always played the last source it was on when you restarted the car, but it started at 1/4 to 1/3 volume. That was great!
My 2021 S-Class turned on at the volume it was when you turned off the car (like yours). It can be disturbing!
My 2022 EQS450 is also like your car. I don't get why they had that great feature and did not carry it forward.
They also did not carry over the "alphabet" on the edge of the Artist and Album selection screen that is important if you have a lot of choices. I mentioned that and some other complaints on this forum and I see issues get fixed. On the latest software update the Alphabet selector has returned. I also complained that the Red Light Camera view screen could only be turned off per trip. It now can be turned off permanently.
I don't know if Mercedes reads this forum, but I think getting out these quirks brings them to their attention and I do see some fixes.
