Radio voice does not mute during navigation command
Had my 23 EQS 580 sedan in to the shop recently for “ service module” updates and replacement of my defective 12 v battery. Haven’t really noticed much change except for a few cosmetic items on MBUX screen. However I now notice when I have navigation on and the radio at same time, the radio voice doesn’t mute when a voice command comes from navigation. The two voices compete with each other. I figured a box must have unchecked itself during the service module updates and sure enough I found a command to soften the radio voice while using navigation. Unfortunately checking this box did nothing to the radio voice and they still compete with each other. I have to turn the radio voice down in order to hear what directions the navigation is giving. Anyone else have this issue and any solutions??

Could, perhaps, be just a sound "balance" issue. Precisely when the navigation voice is speaking, have you tried to turn up the volume? I do this to make the navigation voice louder than the radio. The setting remains and I manage to balance everything as I wish this way.
