Change units from km's to miles
 

Canadian EQS580 owner here making a road trip to the US soon.

There must be some easy way to change the MBUX units dashboard speedometer from km's to miles but I can't seem to find it.

Appreciate any help!

Perhaps the easiest thing for you to do would be to configure the driver's display to show a second speed field (e.g. in mph).
I have done this on my car, which is in km/h but in the upper right corner of my Classic driver's display, the speed also appears in mph in a simple numerical format.
I'm not near my car right now, otherwise, I'd tell you exactly how to do it. But fish around in MBUX Setup screens for the car and you will find option that's something like "show additional speed"

Yes, but note that you have to scroll down to see this option. (It wasn't obvious to me when I first looked at it.)

Good point! I've noticed this "phenomenon" in so many places in the settings menus. Very frustrating, as it is, indeed, very easy to miss stuff. Simply BAD user interface design!

They should have added an "arrow" or downward triangle in screens with more than 1 page of options.
